Step 1 · do this first
Before the old computer goes away
This is the part people skip and then regret. None of it can be recovered once the machine is gone — do it while you still have both computers.
⛔ Don't wipe, trade in, or return the old machine yet
Keep it until the new one is fully working and you've opened a real loan file on it. A day of overlap costs you nothing; losing a saved password list costs you a week.
Pull these off the old computer
- Export your browser passwords
Chrome: Settings → Autofill → Passwords → ⋮ → Export. Edge: Settings → Profiles → Passwords → ⋮ → Export. Save the file somewhere safe (not the Desktop), and delete it once you're set up on the new machine.
- Export your bookmarks
Same menus → Bookmarks → Export. Faster than re-finding every portal.
- Let OneDrive finish syncing
Click the blue cloud in the taskbar and wait for "Your files are up to date." Anything still syncing is only on the old computer. Your folder is OneDrive - Aspire Home Loans.
- Check for files saved OUTSIDE OneDrive
Look in Desktop, Documents, and Downloads for anything not inside the OneDrive folder — those do not come with you.
- Copy your email signature
Open a new email, select your whole signature, copy it into a Word doc and save it to OneDrive. You can also rebuild it from scratch — link in Step 5.
- Write down your personal URLs and PINs
Your Floify address and your Pre-Approval PIN. Use the fill-in box below so you aren't hunting for them later.
My CLEAR email:
My Floify URL:
My Pre-Approval PIN:
My NMLS #:
📱 Keep your phone next to you all day
A new computer is a new device to every system you use. Microsoft, the CRM, and most vendor portals will send a verification code or an approval prompt the first time you sign in on it. If you use Microsoft Authenticator, make sure it's still on your phone and working before you start.
Step 2 · the master key
Sign in to your work Microsoft account
Do this one before anything else. Your CLEAR email is the sign-in for Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, and it's the username on several other systems — once it's working, everything else gets easier.
1
Sign in to Microsoft 365 Corp / IT
Go to office.com and sign in with your full CLEAR email address (first.last@clearhomeloans.com) and your existing password. Mail by itself lives at outlook.office.com.
- Outlook — your email and calendar
- Teams — internal meetings, calls, and chat
- OneDrive — your file storage, synced to your computer
- SharePoint — company documents: lock policies, payroll schedule, call scripts, trackers, investor guidelinesaustincap.sharepoint.com — opens with this same login
🔐 Can't get in, or the password doesn't work? That's Briantek, our IT help desk — call (346) 460-7474. Don't spend an hour on it. Their script: "Hi, this is [your name] from Clear Home Loans, and I'm affiliated with Austin Capital Mortgage / Aspire Home Loans."
Step 3 · programs to install
What actually gets installed on the computer
Shorter than you'd think. Almost everything we use runs in a web browser — these four are the only real installs.
- Microsoft 365 apps — Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint Corp / IT
Install from your own account, not a download site: sign in at office.com → top-right Install apps. This licenses them to you automatically.
- Microsoft Teams Corp / IT
microsoft.com/microsoft-teams/download-app — sign in with your CLEAR email.
- OneDrive Corp / IT
Already on Windows — just open it and sign in with your CLEAR email. Let it finish syncing before you go looking for your files; it can take a while the first time.
- Google Chrome You
google.com/chrome — every CLEAR tool is built and tested in Chrome. Import the bookmarks and passwords you exported in Step 1.
- Adobe Acrobat Reader — optional but handy You
get.adobe.com/reader — for guideline PDFs and disclosure packages.
💡 Nothing else needs to be installed. The loan systems, the pricing engine, the CRM, and all the CLEAR tools are websites. If someone tells you to download a loan program from a random site, stop and ask first.
Step 4 · the loan systems
Your company logins
You already have accounts for all of these — you are not signing up again. Find the original invite email in your inbox (search the system name), or ask for a password reset. Sharon LittleJohn is who issues and re-sends these.
⚠️ Some of these have no public login page
For LendingPad, DocMagic, Certified Credit, and Appraisal Firewall, the sign-in link comes in your invite email — there's no address we can print here that will get you to the right place. Search your Outlook for the system name and bookmark the link from that email. If you can't find it, email Sharon rather than guessing at a URL.
Links we can give you right now
- GoHighLevel — the CRM: contacts, pipelines, texting, automations, power dialer Corp
app.aspirehomeloans.com — our own branded login page, not gohighlevel.com. You're a user inside the main Clear Home Loans account. Training: Kari Cooper, kari@austincapitalmortgage.com.
- Polly — the pricing engine (Non-QM lives here too) Corp
lx.pollyex.com → pricing screen is /app/pe/loan-scenario. For Non-QM, price the scenario and click the NON-QM button.
- Pulse — pricing tools, analytics, your company dashboard You have it
pulse.veron.tech — same login you were recruited through. Nothing new needed.
- Floify — the application portal your borrowers use Corp
Your personal address is usually firstlast.floify.com — the exact one is in your invite and on your officer page at clearhomeloans.com. Bookmark it; you'll send it out every day.
Find the invite email, then bookmark the link
- LendingPad — our loan origination system (the LOS) Corp
Training video: youtube.com/watch?v=xtyt_5xvu38
- DocMagic — disclosures and e-signatures Corp
Your username is your CLEAR email address. The temporary password came with the invite — change it the first time you're in.
- Certified Credit — credit pulls. Two separate logins: Full HD Tri-Merge and Soft Pull Corp
- Appraisal Firewall — ordering and tracking appraisals Corp
- Floify training video
youtube.com/watch?v=-OTM_Z0hew4
Step 6 · HR, IT & licensing
The accounts that aren't about loans
🖥️ IT help desk
- Briantek — email, Teams, OneDrive, computer trouble
(346) 460-7474 · support@briantek.com
Open with: "I'm from Clear Home Loans, affiliated with Austin Capital Mortgage / Aspire Home Loans."
- Security awareness training — required
Arrives by email from Training@bp-securityawareness.com. It's legitimate — complete it when it shows up.
📜 Licensing & identity
- NMLS — your license, renewals, continuing education
Your public record: nmlsconsumeraccess.org. Sponsorship transfers and state licensing go through Brian Hill, brian@aspirehomeloans.com.
- Google Business Profile — your local search listing You
google.com/business · category Mortgage Lender. Yours to claim and verify.
- Business cards — Vistaprint, "Upload a Complete Design" You
Get the print-ready art from the LO Launch Kit. CLEAR doesn't order cards for you — you place and pay for your own order.
Step 7 · prove it works
The last mile
Run this list before you call it done. Each one catches a problem that's much worse to find in front of a borrower.
- Send yourself an email from Outlook — and check that your signature, logos and all, came through
- Open a loan in LendingPad and a file in Floify
- Price a real scenario in Polly
- Open a contact in the CRM and make sure your calendar is showing
- Generate one pre-approval letter and look at it in PDF
- Open a file from OneDrive and from SharePoint — if SharePoint is empty, that's a permissions issue, call Briantek
- Join a Teams meeting — test your camera, mic and speakers now, not two minutes before the call
- Set your bookmarks bar — Ctrl+Shift+B in Chrome, and put the Toolkit, Resource Center, CRM, Polly and your Floify link on it
- Delete the exported password file from Step 1 once everything is signed in
- Now you can wipe and return the old computer
🆘 Stuck?
Who to ask — don't sit on it
